Around two dozen cueists qualify for second round in Senior Snooker

JAMMU, Nov 29: Around two dozen cueists have qualified for the second round in the ongoing Senior Snooker organized during the ongoing 26th J&K State Billiards and Snooker Championship commenced today.
The Championship is being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Billiards and Snooker Association (JKBSA) at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here today.
In the first match on day 2, Pankaj Sharma defeated Satvik Kerni by 3-2, whereas in the second match, Ansh Sharma registered win over Stanzin Stobdan by 3-0.
Abhishek Pathania defeated Mohit Manhotra by 3-0 in the third match, whereas in the fourth match, Vishal Abrol defeated Varun Ghai by 3-0.
In the fifth match, Sohail Khaled beat Shubham Dubey by 3-0, whereas in the sixth match, Vidit Gowri registered win over Rohit Sharma by 3-1.
In seventh match of the day, Ankush Kapahi defeated Kashif by 3-0, whereas Rohit Chib defeated Akshit Gupta by 3-1 in the eighth match.
Attar Shafiq beat Saquib Banday in the ninth match by 3-0 frames, whereas in the last match of the day, Ellam Mir outplayed Aman Choudhary by 3-1.
The matches were officiated by Rakesh Sharma, Marker, who has been appointed by J&K State Sports Council.
The Championship is being organized by JKBSA under the aegis of J&K State Sports Council.
