KCIS celebrates 13th annual day through theme ‘Shraddhanjali’

JAMMU, Nov 30: KC International School (KCIS) Jammu celebrated its 13th Annual Day through the theme “Shraddhanjali”, at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium.
On the occasion, Basant Rath, IGP Home Guard, was the chief guest while Sidarath Arora was the guest of honour. Among the management, the dignitaries present were Chaitanya Chowdhary (Vice Chairman of the Institution), Saroj Mahajan, Vishal Chowdhary, Shikha Chowdhary and Subhendu Sarkar (Principal).
The event commenced with lighting of the ceremonial lamp to offer prayers to the almighty by enchanting ‘Shllokas’. It was followed by the School orchestra welcoming the elite gathering by enthralling them with their melodious music.
An invocational Dance ‘Asatoma Sad Gamaya’ was the opening item which was indeed a spiritual transaction with the creator of Heaven and Earth. The day was marked in the remembrance of the Chairman Late Vinay Mahajan. So a special tribute was given by the entire KC International family to the immortal soul.
The event was coalesced with the performance like Mary and Angels – ‘A prayer for Peace’, to attain glory through Mother Mary’s eternal bliss. The soulful and eternal dance eased everyone’s heart. A dance recital Krishna – A Folklore in flute and feet was presented which gave an insight into the innumerable episodes in the entire lifetime of Krishna, depicting his mischievous nature, love for his friends and stories of his childhood.
The main highlight of the programme was ‘Shraddhanjali to a towering nationalist Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji through an enactment ‘Atal Ek Prernatmak Srot’. The play showcased the selfless sacrifices Atal ji made for our country, invocating humankind.
Principal of the School presented the School’s Annual Report highlighting the accolades of the KCites. The students were also felicitated for their exemplary performances in academics and co-curricular activities.
