JAMMU, Dec 12: Alexander Memorial Higher Secondary School, Jammu hosted an “Inter-School Skit Competition on India’s ‘Freedom Struggle 1857-1947” under the aegis of Youth Talent Search–a forum of schools of Jammu, here today.
Esther William, Principal of the host school received the chief guest Rajesh Gupta, former MLA, Jammu East, other distinguished guests, learned judges, participants and their escort teachers.
The schools, which participated in this competition were New Era Environmental School, Circular Road, Jammu, Bikram Memorial School, Bishnah, SD Tara Puri Public School, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, Lawrence Public School, Panjtirthi, Lawrence Public School, Sidhra, JK Montessori School, Tirath Nagar, Jammu, Bhagwati Haqiqat Memorial Public High School, Barnai and Humanity Public School, Bari Brahmana.
The adjudicators for the competition were Mushtaq Kak, Director and Sandeep Verma, Actor and Director.
In the competition, Lawrence Public School, Sidhra secured first position, whereas second position was shared by SD Tara Puri School and New Era Environment School. The third position was clinched by Bhagwati Haqiqat Memorial Public High School.
