SRINAGAR, Dec 27: J&K Branch of Indian Red Cross Society here today organised a blood donation camp in collaboration with Reliance Jio State Office. The camp was inaugurated by Shehzan Hamid, State Head, RIL Jio Srinagar.
Addressing the donors, Hamid said that Red Cross Society had been conducting special camps to collect blood from donors and the same is being utilized for the patients who are in need.
During the camp, a total donation of 30 units of blood accumulating to 10,500 ml blood was donated by the staff of RIL Jio, Srinagar with smiles on their faces.
The camp was held in association with the team of Blood Bank, Lal Ded Hospital, Srinagar headed by Dr. Javaid Iqbal Khan.
General Secretary, IRCS-J&K, Shafi Rather hailed the efforts of RIL Jio for making blood donation a regular activity in the State with Red Cross.
