Jammu, Dec 28: A ‘piping ceremony’ was held at Batallion Headquarters of IRP 16th Battalion today where Commandant A K Mahajan, SSP docorated the newly promoted officers/ officials of the Battalion including two SIs, 5 ASIs and four head constable.
They were promoted by A K Choudhary, ADGP Armed J&K by three different orders, as new year gift to these officers.
The commandant congratulated the promotees and their families and wished them a successful career ahead. He further advised them to show more valour and dedication towards their duties.
