JAMMU, Jan 2: Senior Men Hockey team of J&K has left for participation in the 9th HI Senior Men National Hockey Championship, which will be held at Chennai Tamil Nadu from January 7 to 20.
The screening of the team was conducted by Chief Sports Officer, Divisional Sports Officer and other members of J&K State Sports Council. Uniforms and track suits were distributed among the selected players.
All the office bearers and members of Hockey J&K were also present on the occasion.
The selected players are Prabjot Singh, Ranjeet Singh, Gagandeep, Shobit Kumar, Karanjit, Navjote, Mohammad Isfaq, Ishfaq Ahed, Mohammad Hussain, Ramnik Singh, Charanjit Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Javid Mian, Hardeep Singh, Ali Mohammad, Ashraf Mohammad, Munish Kumar and Shokat Mohammad.
The team will be accompanied by Rohit Sharma as manager, J Singh as coach and Khalid Bashir as physical trainer.
