JAMMU, Jan 2: Two matches were played in the ongoing Senior Division Football League Tournament, being organized by District Football Association (DFA) Jammu under the aegis of J&K Football Association, here.
The first match of the day was played between Vijay Club and NGR FC, which ended in draw with 0-0 goal.
In the second match, J&K Bank Academy registered win over Hero Football Club by a solitary goal and sailed into the next stage of the tournament. Pardeep Singh of J&K Bank Academy was the lone goal scorer in the 70th minute of the match.
The matches were officiated by Vijay, Dheeraj Meenia, Rocky Sharma, Koshal Sharma, Suresh Gupta, Ricky and Dil Bahadur.
In today’s matches, the guests were Sheikh Mehmood, District President DFA Jammu, Nazir Ahmed, Vice President North West, Ramesh Chander, Vice President West JKFA, Varinder Gupta, Charan Dass, Yousaf Don, Rajesh Kumar and Amardeep Singh.
In tomorrow’s fixture, Vijay Club will take on Young Rovers, while JK Bank Academy will clash with Shaheen FC.
