JAMMU, Jan 3: Lord Mahavira Playway School celebrated its Annual Sports Day with zeal and zest here today.
On the occasion, former Minister and Founder Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan Choudhary Lal Singh was the chief guest, while Vice President DSS, Kuljeet Singh Jamwal, UCC Founder and CEO Sachin Sharma, Spokesperson DSS Navneet Kour, LMPS Chairman, Surinder Sharma, Nat Manch Chairman and LMPS Principal Madhu Sharma were guests of honour. Nat Manch Founder Tarun Sharma was special invitee.
The synchronized March past by the contingents of the four houses namely Jhelum, Chenab, Ravi and Tawi began entailed by the lighting of the torch and the oath ceremony.
The meet was declared open with the releasing of balloons by the chief guest Choudhary Lal Singh.
The students displayed a wide array of colorful and reverberated events that mesmerized the audience with their thrilling and enthusiastic performances. The karate demonstration prepared by Nat Manch, German Drill, Frog Race, Balloon Race, Relay Race, Sack Race, Obstacle Race and Lemon and Spoon Race were some of the event that remained the main attraction.
The winners were honoured and awarded by the chief guest Choudhary Lal Singh on the occasion.
