Police Martyr’s Memorial Cricket Tournament

KATHUA, Jan 3: LB Shastri Club Delhi and Khanna Cricket Club Jagraon defeated rivals in their respective matches and entered into the semis of the ongoing Police Martyr’s Memorial Cricket Tournament, being played at sports stadium here.
In the first quarterfinal match, LB Shastri Delhi defeated Sabhi Cricket Club Hoshiarpur by 3 wickets and entered into semis.
After winning the toss, LB Shastri Club elected to bat first and set a target of 113 runs in 20 overs by losing 9 wickets which LB Shastri Club chased in second last ball of 20th over. LB Shastri club won the match by 3 wickets. Nitin was declared as Man of the Match for his stunning performance. He scored 28 runs and took 4 wickets.
In the second quarterfinal, Khanna Cricket Club Jagraon defeated AMCC Gurgaon by 46 runs and registered berth in the semifinal.
Batting first after winning the toss, Khanna Cricket Club made 139 runs in 20 overs by losing 8 wickets which AMCC Gurgaon failed to chase and collapsed at 93 runs in 17.4 overs.
Yogesh was declared as Man of Match for his brilliant half century in 36 balls.
