JAMMU, Jan 18: Gandhi Nagar police recovered a stolen truck from Dinga Amb area of Tehsil Hiranagar in District Kathua.
As per police sources, on January 14 this year, a complaint was lodged by Gurdeep Singh, son of Manohar Singh of Nanak Nagar with Police Station Gandhi Nagar stating that during the intervening night of January 13 and 14 some unknown person(s) has stolen his truck bearing registration number JK02AG-7657 from Nanak Nagar area.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 13/19 under section 379 RPC was registered at Gandhi Nagar Police Station and investigation started.
During the course of investigation and strenuous efforts, a team from Gandhi Nagar Police Station with the help of Transport Union recovered the stolen truck from Dinga Amb area of Tehsil Hiranagar in District Kathua.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Inspector Sunil Singh Jasrotia recovered the stolen truck under the supervision of SDPO South Dr Sunniya Ashkoor Wani, SP South Vinay Kumar and SSP Jammu Tejinder Singh.
