JAMMU, Jan 20: 6th Jammu District Rugby 7’s Championship 2019 concluded at Dogra ground, Shastri Nagar, here.
The Championship was organised by District Jammu Rugby Association, under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir Rugby Association.
Chief Sports Officer, J&K State Sports Council, Haji Abdul Qayoom was the chief guest on the occasion, while Arti Verma, Jammu District Secretary of the Association and Harmeet Singh, Joint Secretary were present on the occasion.
Doon International School emerged winner in Under-14 girls category, while RRL High School and DIS School remained 1st and 2nd runners-up respectively.
In under-14 boys, RRL School was the winners and Doon International school was the 1st runners-up.
In Under-17 boys, Doon International School emerged winner and RRL School was the runners-up, while in Under-17 girls, Harry Club Jammu was the wiiner and Jammu Club was the runners-up.
In Senior boys, Jammu Ruggers was the winner and Lions Club Jammu was the runners-up.
Doon International School won the overall Championship, while RRL High School remained runners-up.
