JAMMU, Jan 24: Indian Dental Association (IDA) here today organised a dental check-up camp at SPS International School, Chowadhi where 59 students were examined and given oral hygiene kits which included toothpastes and toothbrushes.
Dr. Himja Mengi and Dr. Vibha Raina examined the students and delivered a presentation on maintenance of oral hygiene. They also demonstrated on proper tooth-brushing techniques.
Principal of the School, Ankush and Coordinator, Sunny Raina were also present on the occasion.
On this occasion, Dr. Gautam Sharma, IDA Jammu President informed that he can be contacted at 7006672655 for free dental check-up camps in schools.
He also said that oral hygiene maintenance shall be taught at an early age to the children so that they can be protected from various dental problems throughout their life.
Sumeet Gandotra provided free oral hygiene kits to the children.
