JAMMU, Feb 1: A deputation of J&K Graduate Promotee Agriculture Officer’s Association (JKGPAOA) led by its Acting President Ragbir Anthal met Advisor to Governor, Khurshid Ganai and handed over charter of demands.
The demands include finalization of seniority of Class-VII, one time settlement to complete placement of 642 VEWs/JAAs/ JAEOs in Class-VII which is pending for more than 3 decades, revoke the impugned temporary promotion orders as mentioned in JKGPAOA’s representation and consider such emergent arrangements after fixing seniority of Class-VII as per rule, impede any type of promotion/assignment of higher or equivalent post charge to the 1988 onward wrongly appointed direct recruits till their recruitment is found legally justified, defer direct recruitment through PSC as already stayed by Court till the settlement of promotion issue of VEWs/JAAs/JAEOs so as to meet the ends of justice already delayed for decades together.
The association urged the Advisor (K) to intervene in the matter as required to settle the issue without any delay.
Advisor gave patient hearing to the delegation and assured that appropriate steps are being taken in the matter and separate meeting on this issue will be conducted shortly.
