BJP failed to fulfill election promises: Harsh

JAMMU, Feb 3: National Panthers Party (NPP) activists led by Harsh Dev Singh, Chairman NPP here today staged a protest demonstration against BJP alleging that BJP failed to fulfill election promises.
The protesters claimed that the Saffron party sacrificed Jammu centric issues to favour Kashmiri based leaders.
Harsh Dev told reporters that BJP MPs from Jammu region remained mute spectators at national capital for five long years while their State colleagues compromised with the national and regional interests to empower Kashmir oriented ‘Agenda of Alliance’.
“Its 25 MLAs in the State miserably failed to rake up people’s voice in the Assembly in the last three and a half years which immensely damaged Dogra pride and honour,” the NPP leader said referring to BJP.
He questioned the visiting PM about his stand over the abrogation of Art 370 and 35-A ‘which BJP always used as election cry’.
Harsh Dev further said that with the entire concentration of the BJP on Kashmir, the Jammu region was neglected economically and politically to face severe identity crisis.
He further said that educated unemployed youth of Jammu region were made to languish in open for their genuine demands while entire thrust was on the valley in the matter of employment.
