RAJOURI, Feb 7: Residents of Kotranka held protest demonstration against the Power Development Department for its failure to restore electricity supply to many areas after recent snow-fall.
A large number people holding candles (Mashals) came out on the road at Kotranka town and took out protest march. They were shouting slogans against PDD and the district administration. Later, they reached the Police Station and staged protest demonstration there for some time. They warned to intensify the protest if the power was not restored in the area with in 2-3 days. Later, they dispersed on assurance of the SHO concerned.
