JAMMU, Feb 25: State Bharatiya Janata Party, (BJP) conducted meeting of its State Election Management Committee and Beneficiary Committee here, today at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar.
Though the meeting especially focused on the preparations regarding forthcoming general elections, but threadbare discussions on the forthcoming party programmes and the ground work by BJP’s Beneficiary Committee were also discussed.
In addition it discussed the reach of benefits to the beneficiaries of public welfare schemes under various Government policies.
BJP State president, Ravinder Raina chaired the meeting, while MP (Lok Sabha) Jugal Kishore Sharma, MP (Rajya Sabha), Shamsher Singh Manhas, State general secretary, (Org.) Ashok Kaul, former Dy. CM, Dr. Nirmal Singh and former Dy. CM, Kavinder Gupta also addressed the meeting.
Ravinder Raina, while addressing the meeting, asked all the senior BJP leaders to gear up for the approaching general elections. He said that today the BJP is boasting of huge public support which is all set to pave for a massive win in approaching general elections. This is all due to the focused efforts by the dedicated BJP workers, their selfless service for the society and dynamic leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, who has ensured every step for the public welfare, nailing down every anti-national and anti-social element in the process.
He said that we all need to strengthen the hands of PM Modi in 2019 general elections and lay down ground for efficient and stable Government led by him.
Ashok Kaul, in his address, discussed the progress on various organizational programmes. He threw light on the forthcoming party programmes and prompted all the party leaders to ensure their success while seeking participation of ground workers and general public. He also sought the information from the Beneficiary Committee regarding implementation of Central Government sponsored public welfare schemes on the ground level and checking out that the benefit has reached the actual targeted beneficiaries.
Sat Sharma, Parmod Kapahi, Arun Gupta, Er. Ghulam Ali Khatana, Th. Narain Singh, Dr. Narinder Singh, Sunil Sharma, Chander Mohan Gupta, Karan Singh, Bali Bhagat, Charanjit Singh Khalsa, Ch. Vikram Randhawa, Girdhari Lal Raina, Rajinder Sharma, Pawan Sharma, Veenu Khanna, Rajni Sethi, Rakesh Mahajan, S. Varinderjit Singh, Jugal Kishore Gupta, Munish Sharma, Tilak Raj Gupta, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Jaidev Rajwal, Naresh Singh, Kulbhushan Mohtra, Adv. Hunar Gupta, Adv. Parimoksh Seth, S. HS Pammi, Rajneesh Jain and other prominent BJP leaders were present in the meeting.
