MENDHAR, Mar 1: While welcoming the release of Indian pilot by Pakistan, senior NC leader and former Member Legislative Assembly Mendhar, Javed Rana urged upon Government of India to accept the offer of talks from Pakistan.
While addressing a gathering, Rana, welcomed the offer of talks made by Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday . “ I think time is high when our Government should accept this offer as peace can not return with war. Dialogue is the only option to restore peace in the region, which has been witnessing turmoil since past many decades,” Rana said.
“ Our forces have already sacrificed so much for the nation and this nation cannot see the loss of our jawans everyday. The Government without any further delay should accept the offer of talks and let the tensions ease along the LoC and IB,” Rana said.
He further reiterated that Kashmir continues to bleed and the people of Jammu and Kashmir will continue pay heavy price until a solution to resolve this decades old issue is found.
