JAMMU, Mar 3:Jugal Kishore Sharma, BJP Member Parliament from Jammu- Poonch Lok Sabha Constituency along with Speaker, Dr Nirmal Singh, State president, BJP & Ex-MLA, Nowshera, Ravinder Raina toured the border villages in districts of Rajouri and Poonch today.
MP, Jugal Kishore Sharma, during his two day tour programme visited village Balakote,Jhullas,Poonch, Mendhar, KG, Ghagrote, Seri, Deing, Ladoka, Lam,Doongi & adjoining areas in district Poonch & Rajouri and listened to the problems of the people residing in border villages and took stock of losses caused to life and property due to border firing by Pakistan.
He also took stock of losses of cattle and houses in the border firing and met with the families residing along the border area. He said that it is very unfortunate that war like situation has been created by worse deeds of the neighbouring country, Pakistan.
He said that our neighbouring country is doing very cowardice and shameful act by causing damage but Indian forces are retaliating very bravely. The people residing at the border area are very brave and facing these situations with great courage, he added.
Member of Parliament also visited the families of the deceased people and camps in which peoples have migrated from border areas.
Jugal asked administration to give full support and cooperation to the people in migrant camps and manage all facilities to bring people to the safer side from Border area firing target zones. He said that it is our first and foremost priority to save the lives of the people along the border area.
The demand to expedite the construction work of bunkers should be completed before the time bound was raised by the border people and also for bullet proof ambulance to cope-up with difficulties during firing times. MP asked administration and concerned staff on spot to complete the construction work of bunkers on priority so that people can save their lives and property during needy times. He also announced bullet proof ambulance from his Member of Parliament Local Area Development (MPLAD) funds for the people of border areas.
State president BJP & Ex-MLA, Nowshera, Ravinder Raina said that Indian forces are giving better reply to the coward neighbour but it is very difficult for the people to migrate from their houses. He said that BJP is always with the people of border areas especially in their difficult times.
Speaker & former Dy CM, , Dr Nirmal Singh said that best possible help would be provided to the residents of border areas and he asked the administration to provide food, shelter and even transportation to the people so that they should not feel any type of difficulty in border migrant camps.
Deputy Commissioner, Rahul Yadav along with the administrative staff, MLC, Pradeep Sharma, MLC, Vibodh Gupta, district president, BJP Poonch, Bansi Lal, State Executive Members & others were present on the occasion.
