JAMMU, Feb 12: A lecture on the awareness of the latest technology of Remote Sensing and GIS was organized by Government MAM College, under the chairmanship of its Principal Ramesh Chander in College premises, here today.
Prof AS Jasrotia, Head of the Department of Remote Sensing and GIS presented a guest lecture to the students of B Sc Part-II, and III of the College.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Jasrotia said that this technology has significantly enhanced human capability for exploration, mapping and monitoring of resources on local and global scale.
The lecture was hosted by Dr Sangeeta Sudan, Convener DST, while the vote of thanks was presented by Balwinder Saini from the Department of Chemistry.
