PWA, PWF demand intensification of work on Ganderbal Bus Stand

JAMMU, Mar 7: The Pensioners Welfare Association (PWA) and Peoples Welfare Forum (PWF) Ganderbal have demanded intensification of work on Ganderbal Bus Stand which has been started a decade back and is still incomplete.
The demand was made by the joint delegation of two organizations led by Mir Ghulam Rasool Butwani a trade Union leader who called on DC Ganderbal, Hashmat Khan today. The delegation also demanded juice factory for Ganderbal, completion of work on Sheikhzoha-Ganderbal bridge over river Sindh, construction of Cold Storage to preserve fruits and establishment of grapes and walnut unit in Ganderbal.
It further demanded that under PM’s Janaushodi Youjna the medical centers be opened in every hospital of the district and private schools be made accountable like Government schools.
They said the PM’s Janaushodi scheme is very beneficial for the poor people and with the opening of its outlets the poor people can get medicines on concession rates.
The other members of the delegation were Abdul Ahad Rather, Sheikh Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Shilvati and Sheikh Noor Mohammad.
