SAMBA, Mar 8: Ghagwal police today arrested one absconder evading arrest for last six years.
A police party of P/S Ghagwal headed by Inspector, Rajeev Kumar, SHO under the supervision of Deepak Digra, Dy.SP Headquarters, Samba arrested the absconder namely Mohammad Yaqoob, S/o Gulam Rasool, R/o Mandi Kahanpur, tehsil Pathankot, Punjab from the Jatwal area who was wanted in case FIR No. 50/2013 U/S 188RPC and 2/3 PCA Act of P/S Ghagwal.
Police said the absconder who was evading arrest for the last six years after commission of crime was produced in the court of law and warrants were issued against him under 512 CrPC. He was lodged in Sub- Jail Hiranagar.
The arrest was made under the overall supervision of Dr. Koshal Sharma, SSP, Samba.
