JAMMU, Feb 13: A youth was killed while four others were injured in road accidents.
As per reports, youth identified as Tenxin Kunchok, son of Sonam Khurboo of Padar, district Kishtwar, was seriously injured after falling down from a mini-bus in Kunjwani.
He was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment late last night.
A case has been registered at concerned police station and investigation started.
Meanwhile, four women were injured, when the van they were traveling in from Udhampur to Jammu collided head on with a bus in Jhajjar Kotli.
On getting information, police rushed to the spot and rushed the injured to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where their condition was stated to be stable, when last reports poured in.
The injured women have been identified as Swarna, wife of Madan Lal, Ratna Devi, wife of Bansi Lal, Urmila, wife of Ramesh Kumar and Sharn Bai, wife of Late Lali, all residents of district Udhampur.
A case has been registered at Jhajjar Kotli police station and manhunt has been launched to arrest the bus driver, who fled from the spot along with the vehicle.
