DODA, Mar 23: Army organised a Cricket match for the children of Basera Orphanage and Police Public School at Doda aimed to develop a competitive spirit amongst the players and also to provide them a platform to showcase their talent. Around100 people including the children and staff of the orphanage witnessed the match.
Army provided required administrative & logistic support for conduct of the event.
Army officials congratulated children for their spirited performance and distributed prizes among the players. Civil Adm, administrative staff of orphanage and local populace admired the effort of Army and requested for holding of more such sporting events in the future.
