JAMMU, Mar 23: Jammu Sanskriti School Jammu organised an impressive function and presented certificates to meritorious students at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, here today.
Dr Seema Rohmetra from University of Jammu and Coordinator Gandhi Peace Foundation Jammu Chapter was the chief guest on the occasion, who in her address focused on the role of education on character building. Dr Sindhu Kapoor from Jammu University was the guest of honour, while Dr Suniya Ashkoor Wani, SDPO South; Pragaya Gupta, Principal MMI; Dr Rinku Gupta, Principal Cinosural International School and Shikha Puri from Daffodils Care Convent Playway School were the special invitees. Harpreet Singh Anand, Chairperson Jammu Sanskriti School and Rohini Aima, Principal cum Vice-Chairperson of Jammu Sanskriti School were present on the occasion.
The event was eventuated by paying gratitude to all the dignitaries by presenting them saplings as a mark of green drive ensued by lighting of the ceremonial lamp as a tradition to invoke blessings from Almighty.
Rohini Aima, Principal cum Vice Chairperson of the school welcomed the chief guest Dr Seema Rohmetra, guests of honour, special invitees, management and the parents.
The Annual Report of the school was delivered by Nidhi Kohli, Coordinator Pre – Primary Wing, who accentuated the achievements and apprised everybody about the growth of the school during this session.
The apotheosis of the event was the phenomenal performances of children which beguiled the audience.
Later the children were awarded certificates for their merit.
On the occasion, the chief guest illuminated everyone with her experience and congratulated Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu for its splendid function and contribution towards the society.
It is pertinent to mention here that the school availed this grandeur event in the presence of the dignitaries for the release of its first annual issue of the school Magazine ‘Dhrigdharshani’ which is the outcome of months of toil and long haul. The entire event was relinquished by vote of thanks presented by Avneet Kaur, Senior Wing Coordinator of the school.
