KATHUA, Mar 27: On the directions of DGP Dilbag Singh and under Civic Action Programme, IRP 19th Battalion of Jammu and Kashmir Police organised Cultural Programme at its Headquarters here today.
Shridhar Patil, SSP Kathua; Arun Gupta, Principal PTS Kathua; Sukhjeet Singh Rana, CO BSF 19th Battalion, Sardar Khan, retired SSP and Kailash Sharma, retired SP graced the occasion with their presence.
Earlier, Randheer Singh, CO IRP 19th Battalion presented welcome address and threw light on the need of police-public relation in the present era.
A variety of cultural items were presented by the artists namely Versha Kumari, Varinder Kapadia, Paramjeet Singh and Sushmita Banerjee.
Rakesh Kumar was the choreographer and Pankaj Sharma was the anchor.
Ashok Kumar Chib, DySP; Varinder Singh, DySP; Ranbir Singh, Saitan Singh, Ankush Jyoti, Ashwani Thakur, Prem Krishan, Iqbal Singh, Puran Chand and Rajesh Sharma were also present on the occasion.
