NEW DELHI, Mar 27: UK resident Jasmer Singh Hothi’s book “Satvaar” was released today in an impressive function held at Hindi Bhavan, New Delhi.
The book was released by chief guest, Prof Manjit Singh (Delhi University) along with guests of honour, Gurmeet Singh ‘Shunty’ (Member, Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee), Dr Jasvinder Kaur Bindra (Prof Delhi University), Dr HS Paul, (Delhi Bureau Chief, Daily Excelsior) and Manish Verma, MD, Diamond Books.
The book ‘Satvaar’ was originally written in Gurmukhi (Punjabi) language by Jasmer Singh Hothi which was later on translated by Dr Jasvinder Kaur Bindra and published by Diamond Books.
Before the release of book, Gurbani Kirtan was recited by Bibi Jasbir Kaur, Kirtan Jatha of Rajouri Garden. ‘Satvaar’ is one of the best books published by the prestigious publishing house – Diamond Books. Diamond Books is recognized as a popular readable material throughout the world. This publishing house was established in the year 1979 by its Founder and Chairman Narender Kumar Verma.
Today, Diamond Books are being export in many big countries in the world and publishing books in more than 15 languages. The publishing house has published more than 10000 books during its ongoing journey.
The writer of ‘Satvaar’, Jasmer Singh Hothi mentioned in his address that there are some related facts mentioned in two preachings in Shri Guru Granth Saheb. In Gaouri Raag, Bhagat Kabir Ji on Angg 344 and in Raag Bilawal, Shri Guru Amardass Ji on Angg 841. Initially, we are concentrating on ‘Rahao’ in the above two “Vaani” and thereafter detailed discussions on day by day. Generally, main thought process is involved in the line of ‘Rahao’.
