2 booked for uploading sensitive posts on social media

RAJOURI, Mar 28: The police has booked two local boys for uploading sensitive posts on social media.
A police official said two boys running their Facebook accounts on the names of Bajjard Tariq and Er Ashfaq Khatana shared two separate posts on their Facebook timeline and used highly sensitive remarks in their appeal to voters of a particular community in view of ongoing Parliamentary elections.
The words used in their posts are having potential to disturb peaceful atmosphere of the district.
Taking strong note of it, police has registered a case FIR No. 150/2019 U/Ss 153-A, 125 RPC and 66-B IT Act. The police teams have been formed to nab them.
SSP Rajouri, Yougal Manhas said that the words used by these boys were highly objectionable and sensitive in terms of law and order.
Manhas further informed that social media accounts of more than twenty persons including those affiliated with political parties, especially from Rajouri town, are under surveillance and authorities are going to take action against some more persons for their irresponsible acts on social media platforms.
