REASI, Feb 16: A talent hunt solo singing competition “Chhoona Hai Aasman Season–3,” Under Civic Action programme was organized by District Police Reasi at District Police Lines, Geeta Nagar, here today.
Around 70 contestants, both male and female, drawn from district Reasi participated in the competition.
Meanwhile, in senior male category, Chaman Lal bagged first place, while the second spot went to Anil Kumar.
Pooja Devi of Government Degree College, Reasi bagged first position in senior female category, while the second position was bagged by Shivam Sharma of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Reasi.
In junior male category, Nassarullah Bhat, Convent School Mahore and Ankush Kumar of Government Middle School Dehot claimed first two positions respectively, while in junior female category, Samarjeet Kour of Shikha Kendra Ransoo and Suliti Dosra bagged first and second positions respectively.
The position holders were awarded by the chief guest Rajesh Sikri, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Reasi. He was accompanied by Thakur Raghubir Singh, SSP Reasi, RK Tyagi, Commandant CISF, Mohan Lal, Addl SP Katra and Mohd Sharief Chouhan, Addl SP Reasi. District officers of different departments and all police gazetted officers of District Reasi were also present.
Mohd Akram Khan, Master DIET Reasi and teachers of KV Jyotipuram Sunil Kumar and Minakshi were the adjudicators of the event.
