UDHAMPUR, Mar 29: District Jail Udhampur conducted the coaching camp and competitions in the disciplines of Volleyball, Badminton, Carrom and Chess from March 13, 2019, the finals of which were held today.
The competitions were held under the overall supervision of Superintendent District Jail Udhampur, Harish Kotwal and the events were organised on the directions of DGP J&K, Dilbag Singh.
In Volleyball, Team Blue defeated Team Red by 2-0 (21-19,25-17) to win the title, while in Badminton final, Amanpreet defeated Madan Lal 2-0 (21-16, 21-17).
In Carrom finals, the duo of Arif and Sajad got the better of the pair of Rakesh and Parshotam and in Chess finals, Mohan Lal beat Manjeet Singh.
Harish Kotwal was the chief guest on the occasion, who distributed trophies among the winners and runners-up teams/players.
The matches were officiated Manik Nargotra, Raman Gupta, Rishi Sharma and Rakesh.
