JAMMU, Apr 9: A review meeting regarding the status of physical and financial progress of JKSACS was held today under the chairmanship of Atal Dulloo, Principal Secretary to Government Health and Medical Education Department, J&K in his office chamber at Civil Secretariat.
At the outset, Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Rather, Project Director, JKSACS gave a detailed presentation about the functioning of different components of JKSACS working under the guidelines of National AIDS Control Program and highlighted the work done and achievements made during the past one year. He also raised some issues which were hampering the smooth functioning of the department and sought the support of the chair in dealing with them.
Principal Secretary Health & Medical Education (H&ME) Department gave a patient hearing to the presentation made by the Project Director and also enquired about various important issues related to the functioning of the various components of JKSACS. He noted the important points and assured to look into the concerns raised by the Project Director for their early redressal.
Madan Lal, Joint Director, Planning, H&ME Department, J&K along with Deputy Directors and Assistant Directors of JKSACS were present in the meeting.
