JAMMU, Apr 9: As a part of the preliminary activities and week long celebrations being organised to commemorate Rajouri Day 2019, visit to ‘Hall of Fame’ was organised for students of Rajouri town as a three-day long extravaganza from April 7 to 9 by the local Army unit.
About 500 students from 14 schools and three colleges accompanied by teachers visited the venue. The `Hall of Fame’ is located at headquarters, Ace of Spades Division and is a beautiful structure constructed as a monument in remembrance of valiant soldiers and brave civilians who made the supreme sacrifice for defending the country.
GOC, Ace of Spades Division and Station Commander, Rajouri Garrison interacted with all the students present at the venue. The students were motivated to have a positive outlook towards nation building and remember the sacrifice made by their fallen ancestors for ensuring peace, harmony and integrity of the nation.
