JAMMU, Feb 18: The J&K Strength Lifting Association felicitated the medal winners of 18th Junior National Strength Lifting Championship and 2nd Federation Cup Championship in an impressive function, here today.
Jammu and Kashmir Strength Lifters won 4 medals in the Championship. The medal winners included Abdul Latif, who won gold in 72 kg category, Dinesh, who claimed silver in 68 kg, Raman Sharma, who bagged silver in 68 kg category and Adil Ashraf Khan, who clinched bronze in 91 kg weight category. Adil created new record in two hands curling.
Vicky Mahajan, president J&K Strength Lifting Association was present in the felicitation function and assured the players of all possible help in promoting this game in the State.
Meanwhile, the Association has informed the players to prepare themselves for the forthcoming Senior National Championship to be held at Loharu in Haryana.
