JAMMU, Apr 16: Narinder Singh’s all-round show powered Evershine Cricket Club to a big win by 9 wickets over Singh Cricket Club in the ongoing ‘Salute & Tribute to Martyrs’ T20 Veteran Cricket Tournament, being organised by Parade Sports Association in collaboration with Laxmi Cricket Club at Parade ground, here.
Earlier, winning the toss adn batting first, Singh Cricket Club bundled out for paltry 94 runs in 16 overs. Mail Ditta top scored with 35 runs, while Sunil contributed 14 runs to the total. From Evershine Cricket Club, while Narinder Singh, bansi and Harpreet bagged 2 wickets each.
In reply, Evershine Cricket Club chased the target easily in 11 overs by losing one wicket to win the match by 9 wickets. Narinder Singh scored brilliant 58 runs, while Balbir Singh contributed 24 runs to the total. Gurpreet was the only batsman to be dismissed, who was scalped by Mail Ditta of Singh Cricket Club.
In tomorrow’s fixture, Challenger Cricket Club will take on Vampire Cricket Club at 8:30 am.
