JAMMU, Apr 19: Jammu Kashmir National United Front (JKNUF) in a meeting at New Delhi held under the leadership of Rakesh Handoo its senior leader accused the mainstream political parties of Kashmir for their failure in fulfilling the aspirations of the people of the State facing turmoil for last 30 years.
The meeting alleged that except promoting corruption and nepotism these parties have done nothing for the people of the State. He said the recent low voting percentage in Srinagar Parliamentary election is an indication that the people have lost their faith in these parties and hence they rejected them for their failure to address the problems of common masses.
Rakesh Handoo said that his party will work for formation of a Third Front to have an alternative to the dynastic parties which will work on principle of Kashmiriyat, Insaniyat and Jamhuriyat to bridge the gap between the communities and restore the lost glory of Kashmir.
