Terrorism will be weeded out from entire country: Vaidya

KISHTWAR, Apr 19:- Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Seh Sarkarivah, Dr Manmohan Vaidya today said that the country’s battle against the terrorism has entered into last phase and soon the terror will be rooted out from India.
The RSS national leader, while talking to reporters here on the sidelines of a homage giving ceremony ( a Shradanjali Sabha) to Chanderkant Sharma, a RSS leader from Kishtwar and his PSO, Rajinder Kumar, who attained martyrdom during a terrorist attack on April 9, said country will not be cowed down by such vicious attacks.

He said the martyrdom of Chanderkant will not go in vain and it will inspire the entire society to wage a decisive war against terrorism and fight it to finish to lay the foundation of a society having full faith in Indian nationalism and establishing writ of its age old culture and religion.
With supreme sacrifice of Chanderkant, the people will intensify their struggle against terrorism which has eaten up vitals of the society for last three decades, he said. The people of the country have also resolved to intensify their struggle against terror, he added.
Dr Vaidya said even Swayamsevaks were inspired by the sacrifice of Chanderkant who was a great patriot and social activist. He was always ready to serve the society in the time of need, he added.
Later addressing the function, the RSS leader paid glowing tributes to martyr Chanderkant and his PSO. He said that their sacrifices will inspire entire society. The entire nation is behind the bereaved family in this hour of grief and tragedy, he added.
He demanded that the terrorists responsible for this heinous act be arrested immediately and dealt under the law.
Stressing on awakening and uniting the society, Vaidya said the entire society has to remain united to fight such evil designs of anti national elements and marauders of humanity.
Terming Kishtwar a land of martyrs, Manmohan Vaidya said this land has produced great warriors who have struggled for betterment of society and upholding of ‘Dharma’ since long. “It is not the first sacrifice in this land of warriors but it has been our tradition as we never allowed any one to let down our motherland but laid down our lives from time to time when any one tried to dishonor it”, he added.
Vaidya, while strongly condemning the cowardice act of terrorists who attacked and killed an unarmed & the innocent social worker Chanderkant Sharma and his bodyguard said that the determination and unflinching loyalty of nationalist elements towards their country can’t be cowed down by such inhuman and cowardly acts of terrorists.
To pay homage to martyrs, a grand program was organized here today in the premises of BVM Higher Secondary School Kishtwar. Chanderkant Sharma, Prant Seh Sewa Pramukh and his PSO, Rajinder Kumar were assassinated by terrorists in broad day light at District Hospital on April 9 this year. The Shardhanjali Sabha was organized by Sanatan Dharm Sabha, (SDS) Kishtwar in which thousands of people paid tributes to the martyrs.
Leaders from across the State including the heads of various religious as well as social organizations and thousands of men and women from far-flung areas of the district and Dacchan, Padder, Nagseni, Chatroo, Palmar, Thakarie, Sarthal, Kontwara, Saroor, Bunjwah etc attended the homage ceremony.
Maha Mandleshwar, Swami Rameshwar Dass Ji , while paying tributes to RSS leader and his PSO, also paid homage to Parihar brothers who were martyed by the militants few months back. He expressed his all sympathies towards the families of martyrs and whole Hindu community of Kishtwar.
He stressed upon the grief ridden society to remember the teachings of religious scripts which teach that the soul can neither be created nor be destroyed and so the goal of these martyrs will not let us stop and teach the enemies of peace a lesson. He further said that the true homage to the martyrs would be only to defeat the nefarious designs of anti national elements and carry forward all the works of Shaheed Chanderkant to every nook and corner of this State.
Acharya Vagesh Shastri from Kashi, while paying tributes to martyrs’ urged the Hindu community to remain united and vigilant. He said that Hindus are peace loving people but the enemies of peace should not take them far-granted.
“If we are provoked time and again, our society knows how to defend ourselves and react to the antinationals”, he added.
Former Minister, Sunil Sharma while speaking on the occasion lambasted both the civil as well police administration for not taking some concrete steps to save the lives of common masses. He said that the militants are trying to make their base once again in the district after a long gap but our people know how to teach them a lesson.
He assured the public that all the militants who snatched Parihar brothers as well as the RSS volunteer from them would be dealt under law within no time and those elements who are providing them the financial as well as other support would not be spared and put behind bars. “The terrorists as well as their sympathizers should clearly understand that the Hindu society of this district would never allow them to succeed in their nefarious designs and it would fight them till end,” he added.
In the end, a sympathy letter paying homage to martyrs written by RSS chief Dr Mohan Rao Bhagwat and Gen. (retd) G.D Bakshi was also read and handed over to the family members of the martyr Shaheed Chanderkant Sharma.
Others who spoke on the occasion were Mahant RamSharan Dass Ji, BJP Mahilla Morcha president, Surekha Sen, President Bar Association, B.S Salathia, BJP State president, Ravinder Raina, RSS Akhil Bharatiya Seh Sampark Pramukh, Romesh Pappa, Brig (retd) Suchet Singh Prant Sangchalak, Vanveer Singh Utter Shatriya Pracharak, Rupesh Kumar Prant Pracharak, Bodh Raj Sharma, Som Nath Sharma, Hans Raj Bhutyal and others.
Meanwhile, Union Minister, Dr Jitendra Singh visited the martyr’s family to express sympathies with them. He spent one and half hour with the family members and assured them that he will take up the issue with Governor, Satya Pal Malik and Union Home Minster, Rajnath Singh and urge them to expedite the process of investigation and arrest of culprits responsible for the heinous crime.
