Defending champion Soham wins U-25 Chess event

JAMMU, Apr 26: In the ongoing provincial level selection chess tournament for Jammu under the banner of All J&K Chess Association (AJKCA), defending State champion, Soham Kamotra won the under-25 open event, here today.
Second place in this category went to Arushi Kotwal while Sanyam Gupta remained third.
Meanwhile, president of AJKCA, Atul Kumar Gupta congratulated all the winners for finding berth in the State team and also wished them good luck for the future National level events.
All the events were conducted under the supervision of Baldev Raj (vice president AJKCA) and conducted by Vivek Gupta, coach of J&K State with Swiss software and international rules.
Selected players from these events along with selected players from Kashmir Division will represent J&K State in upcoming nationals.
