Badhori Sr drubs Shivam Club

SAMBA, Apr 28: Badhori Cricket Club Senior defeated Shivam Cricket Club by 36 runs in the opening match of the JKCA’s Samba District Tournament, which was inaugurated by Jang Bahadur Singh Jamwal, Member Judicial State Human Rights Commission and Member JKCA, here today.
Batting first, Badhori Club scored 170 runs in 20 overs. Ashwani Jmawal top scored with 57 runs, while Vinay and Sunny contributed 31 and 24 runs to the total. Vikram Singh and Shubham Singh took 2 wickets each for Shivam Club.
In reply, Shivam Club bundled out for 134 runs. Sunny Singh, Rahul Singh and Sher Singh scored 27, 21 and 16 runs to the total respectively. Rahan took 2 wickets for Badhori Club, while Mittu and Zorawar claimed one wicket each.
The tournament is being held under the supervision of the Coordinating Committee headed by Rajeev Jasrotia.
