JAMMU, Apr 28: Bahu Fort Police arrested two snatchers and recovered stolen cash from their possession.
As per police sources, on April 5 this year, a complaint was submitted by Uttam Aria of Kaluchak alleging that two persons snatched Rs 47,000 from him near Railway Station, Jammu.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 91/19 under Section 341, 382 and 34 RPC was registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team led by SHO Trikuta Nagar Inspector Parvez Sajad rounded up few suspects and questioned them.
Based on leads during investigation, two persons namely Arun Mahto, son of Upinder Mahto and Manoj Mahto, son of Sita Mahto, both residents of Bihar were apprehended and the snatched amount was recovered from their possession.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
