JAMMU, Feb 21: A 37-year old man jumped to death from river Tawi bridge in the afternoon here today, police said.
According to a police spokesperson, Pawan Kumar son of Krishan Lal and residence of Paloura jumped from the river Tawi bridge at about 3.30 pm today. He was rushed to GMC where he was declared as brought dead.
A case in this regard has been registered at police post GMC but the reason as to why he took this extreme step was not yet ascertained, he added.
