JAMMU, May 4: Association of Representatives and Agents of All J&K Motor Transport Companies here today organised ‘Akhand Paath’ for peace and brotherhood in the country.
Chief Guest on the occasion was Tarlochan Singh Wazir, Ex-MLC while Dhanater Singh, RTO Jammu; S. Nanak Singh and Amrik Singh, PDP leaders were the guests of honour.
Speaking on the occasion Tarlochan Singh Wazir said that transporters are being harassed at the office of RTO and their work is delayed on one pretext or the other.
He further said that traffic police further harasses transporters for not possessing proper documents of the vehicles while the same remain at the office of RTO for completion.
He further said that the issue will be taken up with the RTO soon.
S. Gajan Singh, Association president while speaking on the occasion raised the problems being faced by the transporters.
