SRINAGAR, May 4: Pakistani wives of ex-militants today demanded that they should be given travel documents and Indian citizenship so that they can visit their families.
While addressing the media persons, a group of women said that they are not able to visit their families back in Pakistan as both the Governments are not addressing their issues.

”We were promised that we will be given the travel documents to visit our families, in addition to the citizenship, we don’t have any identity here; we have not committed any crime, we have lawfully married people who are Indian citizens,” the group said.
The group appealed the Governments of Pakistan and India to pay heed to their issues as they were ‘suffering’ due to the official apathy. “Some of us have now plunged into depression and we appeal everyone to resolve our issues on priority,” they demanded.
