Former Indian cricketer Kirti Azad today said little master Sachin Tendulkar’s performance will give a boost to team India against Australia in the ongoing series.
Indian-Australia is playing their first Test today in Chennai.
“We hope that Sachin Tendulkar will perform throughout the series and come out shining,” Azad told reporters here this afternoon.
He said though Australia presently is a weak team but hard to defeat.
“Australia is a hard nut to be cracked. It will not be as easy task for India to defeat them,” the former cricketer said adding that Australians fight till the last ball and the wicket.
Azad had represented India and had played in seven Tests and 25 ODIs from 1980 to 1986. (UNI)
