JAMMU, May 7: Vice Chairman (VC) Jammu Development Authority (JDA) Vikas Sharma along with JDA and JMC officials visited Trikuta Nagar Colony on the request of TNWS team.
Rajinder P Kakkar President TNWS on behalf of residents submitted a memorandum of demands for the developments of colony and JDA Park on railway road.
VC JDA issued directions to his team to review the status of staff for maintenance and beautification of the park, replacement/repairs of lights, basketball court, skating rings, open gym and shape the portion of park into play ground for kids of Trikuta Nagar colony.
He also directed for installation of the solar lights, construction of small rotaries in different areas direction boards of sector numbers. He also revived the site plan in the entrance of the colony and also asserted for the construction of a Club on the pattern of JDA Club at Roop Nagar Colony Jammu.
He also issued directions to JMC for carrying out fogging in entire colony with anti mosquitoes spray and black topping of lanes of the colony. A joint committee will be constituted of JDA Engineering Wing and TNWS to supervise the development of park.
Vijay Gupta, Secretary, SN Kaul, Advocate Harshvarthan Gupta General Secretary, Neeraj Puri Councilor Ward 54, Nitish Mahajan, Er Ashok Kumar Arora, Er SC Sharma, Amarjeet Singh and large gathering of residents of Trikuta Nagar Colony were present on the occasion.
