JAMMU, Feb 24: A delegation of Plus 2 Lecturers Organisation called on the Minister for School Education Tara Chand and apprised him of various issues confronting the Lecturer community.
The delegation, led by Manzoor Ahmed Shah and Shammi Slathia, explained the lacunas existing in the recently confirmation order of incharge lecturers in 14 subjects coupled with violation of GAD order number 743/GAD of 2007, dated 28-6-2007.
During the course of meeting, the Minister was conveyed that there has been gross violation of another Government order which provides that the teaching personnel having non-functional subjects or with low roll shall be posted in the cultural/monitoring wings of the twin Directorates and that such personnel shall not have more than two years stay. As things in this regard are quite contradictory, overhauling need to be done so that sanctity of the orders may be maintained, the delegation submitted.
The delegation comprised of Manjit Chib, Rakesh Choudhary, Sandeep Sharma, Sandeep Gupta, Ajay Singh Bloeria, Sanjeev Gupta and Amit Kumar.
