GRP Jammu lifts Railway Premier League title

JAMMU, May 27: GRP Jammu defeated Parcel Cricket Club of Railway by 91 runs in the Railway Premier League Cricket Tournament at Railway ground, Railway Station, here.
Winning the toss and elected to bat first, GRP Jammu Cricket team scored 193 runs in the stipulated 20 overs, losing 6 wickets in the process.
In reply, Parcel Cricket Club of Railway bundled out for 102 runs in 11.5, thus GRP Jammu won the match by 91 runs. Joginder Chib was adjudged as the man of the match for his all-round performance. He scored 91 runs and also took 4 important wickets. Susheel Kumar, who scored 304 runs in the tournament, was adjudged as the man of the tournament, while Nitish Sharma was declared as the best bowler of the tournament. Daniel scored fastest 50 in the tournament, scoring 56 off 28 balls. Vikas Sharma of GRP Jammu was declared as the best fielder.
