Big wins by YCC Billawar, Rangers United Club

JAMMU, May 28: YCC Billawar and Rangers United Cricket Club registered big victories in the ongoing JKCA District Level Cricket Tournament, being held under the overall supervision of Member Judicial State Human Rights Commission and Member JKCA at Police Lines ground Kathua and GGM Science College ground, here.
At Kathua, YCC Billawar defeated Abhishek XI by a huge margin of 194 runs. Batting first, YCC Billawar scored 312 runs in 40 overs, losing 9 wickets in the process. Sahil top scored with 75 runs, while Binny contributed 44 runs to the total. From Abhishek XI, Arjun took 3 wickets, while Sunil claimed 2.
In reply, Abhishek XI Kathua bundled out for a paltry total of 118 runs in 26.1 overs, thus lost the match by 194 runs. Bohit top scored with unbeaten 37 runs, while Abhishek contributed 11 runs to the total. From YCC, Sandesh and Pankaj took 3 wickets each. Sahil was adjudged as the man of the match for his brilliant batting display.
At Jammu, Rangers United Club defeated Thathi Cricket Club by 144 runs. Rangers United scored a big total of 318 runs in 40 overs by losing 5 wickets. Sidharth top scored with 79 runs, while Musaif Ajaz and Hisham Saleem contributed 70 and 50 runs to the total respectively. Pardeep and Rajinder bagged 2 wickets each, while Yogesh claimed one.
In reply, Thathi Cricket Club scored 174 runs to lose the match by 144 runs. Vikas top scored with 53 runs while Anil and Yogesh contributed 32 and 18 runs to the total respectively. Arjun Chowdhary was the pick of the bowlers, who took 4 wickets, while Vivek and Vicky claimed 2 wickets each.
The amtches were officiated by Vijay Raina, Ashok Singh, Rahul Kumar, Jatinder, Dhereaj, Sourav and Manmohan Singh.
