JAMMU, June 5: Col R N Chopra Cricket Academy defeated Railway XI by a big margin of 127 runs at Railway Ground, here today.
The tournament is being organised by Greenfield Cricket Academy, Jammu, under the overall supervision of Balbir Singh, Organising Secretary.
Winning the toss and electing to bat first, Col RN Chopra Academy scored 180 runs in 30 overs. Manitway top scored with unbeaten 55 runs, while Aganjot contributed 31 runs to the total. From Railway XI, Hiten and Markhush took 3 wickets each.
In reply, Railway XI bundled out for a paltry total of 53 runs, thus lost the match by 127 runs.
From Railway XI, Markkhush was the only batsman to cross double mark, scoring 10 runs. From R N Chopra Academy, Ashank took 3 wickets, while Mannat and Tegvasnh took 2 wickets each. Manitway was declared as man of the match for his brilliant batting display.
The match was officiated by Pranav and Dilpreet as umpires, while Mohsin was the scorer.
