REASI, June 8: Semifinals position has been cleared in the ongoing District Level Badminton tournament underway at Jyotipuram, here.
A total of 5 matches were played which included 3 doubles and 2 singles.
In open doubles, the duo of Shivam and Sunit beat the pair of Brijesh and Surinder to seal berth in semifinals, while Vinod and Sumit Gandotra got the better of the duo of Sunandhan and Aditya to reach the semifinals.
Earlier, Anil and Abhinav defeated Ankush and Sahil in open doubles.
In open singles, Surinder trounced Anil to enter semifinal, while Brijesh outplayed Parvesh to reach semifinals.
The final match of the tournament will be played tomorrow.
