RAJOURI, June 10: A villager was drowned in Anas river in Kandi area of district Rajouri this evening.
The deceased was identified as 22-year-old Mohd Shakeel, son of Mohd Iqbal, resident of Jaglanoo in Kandi. He had gone to take bath in the river near stone crusher at Jaglanoo at around 5 pm today. He was drowned in the deep water and his body could not be traced till late this evening despite efforts by locals and police.
