MENDHAR, June 29: Poonch District Inter Tehsil Kabaddi Tournament concluded at OP Hill Stadium, here today.
All the tehsils of Poonch district fielded their teams consisting of amateur young players from remote areas, who were otherwise not getting adequate opportunities in sports.
The tournament was conducted by Indian Army for the selection of a team to represent Poonch District in Inter District Kabaddi Tournament.
The final of the tournament was conducted between the teams of Mendhar and Haveli, in which Haveli team was declared winner and selected as team of Poonch district.
